2008 Dog Dash, Trail Run & Bike Race Saturday August 9

Proceeds for this years race to benefit "Cure Kids Cancer" A Hospital At Providence and Valley Trails.  The Crevasse Moraine Trail Association and Valley Mountain Bikers and Hikers have teamed together to make this years Dog Dash even better. Join us for for the 5K run, the culmination  of the MTA Summer Race Series. This years 10K "run only" course will include the Mooseberry Mesa's single track trail for a good mix of terrain, a challenging course for those wanting a little more distance than the 5K. Race Day Registration starts at 8:30 at the Trailhead Pavilion and remember dogs must be on leash during the event. 

The 11 mile mountain bike race has been added which goes out through the UAF experimental fields then on to Matanuska Lake and back. This bike race offers a spectacular view of the lower Mat-Su Valley.
